Is High Speed or High Acceleration better in 2K23?

Video Transcript:
hey everyone this is Sam and happy holidays to you feel free to use the code swish mess for 20 off of our premium jumper service on nba2klath.com so in this video we'll be focusing on 2K physics where we break down 2k's logic when it comes to your physicals specifically we're going to look at speed acceleration and height today so when it comes to acceleration it has a very real effect on ball the player on the bottom has 99 acceleration while the player up top is 25 and you can see the 99 acceleration gets to its second dribble and first dribble much quicker so that's all acceleration but if you assume that also means acceleration has an effect of the ball well that's not the case both players in the top corner here is six foot six with 90 speed and the only difference is player on the left is 25 acceleration while player on the right has 99. now logic will dictate the player on the right should be much faster because of the acceleration but 2K logic says it doesn't make a difference here you can see they get to each spot the early break and the half court line and later at the third break point all at the exact same time which means acceleration has no effect if you're running off the ball like at all height and speed was the same here but acceleration being the only difference it has no effect even in short Sprints like this in the half court so then the next question is what of high change both players in the top corner here has 90 speed and 99 acceleration being the only differences player on the left is six foot one while the player on the right is six foot nine so logic will tell you the taller player should be much faster even if speed and acceleration is the same because he's taller so he has longest strides but with 2K logic it's the opposite the shorter player is faster here you can see he gets to the half and he gets to the third brick much quicker than the taller player who is actually 8 inches taller so essentially by 2K Logic the six foot nine player with the same speed and acceleration as a six foot one player off the ball running the short guy has the advantage eight inches shorter actually makes you 11 faster so there is no stride advantage in this game right and this is not really in a matter of being right and wrong it's just that's 2K logic so if you would like to see more physics tests from us just get this video to 1000 likes and we'll produce more of these for you so we can all have a better understanding of what 2K logic really is when it comes to your physicals and please feel free to let us know in the comment section if you guys actually want an all four acceleration element in this game obviously we know there's one on Ball but do you want one off the ball so as always fans are coming by make sure to check out the website for more information and I look forward to speaking to you guys again very soon
