All NBA 2k24 Attributes Explained

Get a detailed breakdown of what every attribute does on NBA 2k24. Each attribute is color coded based on their category in NBA 2k24. The categories are Finishing, Shooting, Playmaking, and Defense and Rebounding. You will want to understand what each attribute does prior to making your first build.

In 2k24 your attribute ratings seem to carry more weight than your badge level in determining your players success at Shooting, Finishing, Playmaking or Defense. As you add more attribute points to a category it becomes more expensive to continue adding to that category. Spending points to go from 98 3 ball to 99 3 ball is very expensive compared to going from 79 3 ball to 80 3 ball for instance.

We have a tool for viewing how much your builds overall will go up per attribute point put into your build. You can view this tool here: View 2k24 Attribute Weights
