what is good everybody it is Spill here and welcome back to another NBA 2K Lab video at this point in the season we are in full swing with the badge test and today we have the numbers on the new badge Comeback Kid we have all the information on this badge on how and when it activates and of course the Boost it provides but before we get into the video we're so close to 300 000 subscribers so if you're new to the channel and you want more content like this be sure to subscribe without further Ado let's get right into it [Music] the definition of this badge says that it boosts the shooter's mid-range and three-point abilities when trailing in the game now 2K loves giving out fairly vague definitions for the badges and at first thought you might think it means that you could just be down one point and this badge will activate but that's just not the case now when testing the activation we found out that it activates when you're trailing by seven or more points and we tested this in the rec park blacktop and Gatorade and they all work the same now here's a clip when we were down just six points in a part game to see if it activated and just to show you guys it did not activate it is a shooting badge and as the description States it gives a boost to all jumpers in the mid to three point range post Fades will still work as long as you're in that mid-range area but it doesn't work on layups dunks or post shots now for this test we took 200 shots for every 15 milliseconds throughout the green window and in order to test this badge we of course had to be down by seven points and we did this in 2v2 blacktop on Hall of Fame with an 83 ball since the conditions for this badge are a bit unique we had a lot of parameters in place to make sure the designated shooter didn't get how hot or cold and this of course gives us more reliable test results now as you can see by the chart there's a somewhat linear increase per badge level Ron seems to provide decent results and since it's a tier 1 badge across all build Heights it looks to be one of the more worthy bronze badge Investments with just one point each level of the badge does get better and better and this badge has an easy activation and a practical use case it feels as if the badge gives roughly a one to two point attribute bonus to your midi and three-point shot per badge level and then from no badge to Hall of Fame we can see about a five to ten percent make increase at certain points throughout the green window we recommend throwing any of your extra badge points into it but not make it a focus and is generally better on Lower rated Shooters now that is all we got for The Comeback Kid badge I hope this info helped you and if it did be sure to leave a like on the video and subscribe if you haven't hit spill and I'll catch you guys in the next video later
