Boosts the shot peprcentage for a layup attempt when mismatched against a taller defender and reduces the possibility of getting blocked.
6'5 and under
Hall of Fame
If you have the points for it this is a great pick.
6'6 - 6'9
Bronze+
This is a good option for using leftover badge points at a tier 1 level.
6'10 and Up
None
Defenders generally won't be tall enough to activate the badge.
Giant Slayer - 2k23 Test Details

To test Giant Slayer we took 200 contested layups against a defender that is 4 inches taller and we took them at each badge level and recorded the increase in made layups.

Giant Slayer - 2k23 Test Results

The results show a pretty solid boost to contested layups. With Giant Slayer being tier 1 on all builds its a good choice, especially if you are 6'5 or shorter.

This table shows how many attribute points you need in order to unlock a badge at the level in the header. If a badge is a Tier 1 badge you do not need any attributes in order to unlock the badge at a bronze level. If its Tier 2 or 3, you will need to meet the attribute threshold to unlock the badge. If there is more than one attribute listed, you only need to meet the threshold on one of the attributes, not multiple.
