what is good everybody spill here and welcome to the NBA 2K lab channel in this video we'll be looking at our first shooting badge test of NBA 2k2 more specifically we'll be going over the brand new set shot specialist badge and go over the Boost at each level if you're new to the channel don't forget to subscribe for more 2K 25 content and let's get right into it the set shot specialist badge definition says that it boosts the chance of knocking down standstill jump shots and you can see the requirements on the right side of the screen now you may be thinking this is the new catch and shoot badge but it does more than just help catch and shoot shots this badge will help any standstill shot even after dribbling and it's almost like stop and pop or Rhythm shooter from past 2ks this is the best badge to have for all spot up Shooters to help boost your chances of making shots one more thing worth noting is that we found that this badge can also stack with Limitless range up until 29 ft while Limitless range starts to activate around 27 ft now to test this badge we took 200 shots for every 10 milliseconds of the green window which is 1,200 shots per badge level for a total number of 7200 shots for this test just like all of our shooting tests we do it with a modded controller in a controlled environment to get the most raw and accurate data possible each of these badge levels were tested at a 92 3point rating at the top of the key now looking at the chart off the rip you can see the legend version of set shot specialist is far and way the best version which of course makes sense but based off this test set shot specialist on Legend seems to have a significant effect on your ability to hit standstill shots when compared to no badge the legend version of set shot specialist season 18% boost and make rate at the center of the green window that's almost 7% better than Hall of Fame which sits at an 11 % boost over no badge the gold level is solid with about a 7% boost at the center of the green window and this is likely the lowest possible level where you can actually feel a difference bronze and silver provide minimal boost but what I did notice is that the lower badge levels seem to help out more on the outer edge of the green window as opposed to the center but this will help with slightly MIM shots now overall this is a great badge for all Shooters to have and if you can get it to at least the gold level you should be able to notice a huge difference in shooting even if you can only get it to Silver if you can afford to use your max plus one on it it might not be a bad idea a if you're struggling the Hall of Fame and Legend levels will be reserved for elite Shooters and the Boost suggests that it might be tough to miss if you have these levels equipped now that is all we have for the set shot specialist badge test if you found this video helpful or informative be sure to drop a like and comment down below which level of set shot specialist you're using thanks for watching it's Ben spill and I'm out later
