What is good everyone and welcome to another NBA 2K lab badge test. In this video, we'll be taking a look at mini marksman and the boost you receive at each badge level. Now, mini marksman elevates the likelihood of making shots over taller defenders. And to activate this badge, you need to be at least 3 in shorter than the defender guarding you. And of course, you have to be 6'3 or shorter to unlock this badge. For this test, we took 200 shots for every 5 milliseconds throughout the green window for each level of the mini marksman badge. The defender was 4 in taller and had an 85 perimeter defense, while the offensive player had a 92 three-point rating. Looking at the chart, the bronze and silver levels provide a modest boost, but still not significant enough to really notice a difference. And if you're playing on a small guard, chances are you're going with a relatively high three ball anyway. But once we get to the gold level, you can start to see some separation from the lower levels as gold provides an average make rate increase of about 6% when compared to no badge. The Hall of Fame level is very close to gold by only providing a 1% increase in average make percentage. But when looking at the chart, you can notice the legend level looks very good as it's almost on par with a wideopen shot as we get to the middle of the green window. Now, we also tested this badge at a 7 in difference in the same scenario, and the make percentages were much lower due to the bigger defender. But Hall of Fame and Legend levels still provided a good boost. And if you're a small guard, 6'3 or shorter, you're trolling if you're not going with a high three-point rating. And while I wouldn't prioritize this badge specifically, I would make sure I have it on at least the gold level, if not higher. Because being a shorter player, you're at an already large disadvantage with height being a huge factor in contest percentage. So, getting this badge as high as you can will help offset that.
