To test Hook Specialist we ran separate 3 tests:
Test #1: Green Window Size Increase (7'-9') Tested with 92 Close Shot + 90 Post Control on HoF Difficulty
- We tested each badge level at 92 Close and 90 Post Control.
- We attempted Hook Shots from 7' to 9' out.
- The shots were wide open.
Test #2: Green Window Size Increase (10'-12') Tested with 92 Close Shot + 90 Post Control on HoF Difficulty
- We tested each badge level at 92 Close and 90 Post Control.
- We attempted Hook Shots from 10' to 12' out.
- The shots were wide open.
Test #3: Green Window Size Increase (10'-12') Tested with 90 Post Control on HoF Difficulty
- We looked exclusively at different close shot attribute levels, each with Legend Hook Specialist equipped.
Hook Specialist Test Resultaten
Test #1: Green Window Size Increase (7'-9') Tested with 92 Close Shot + 90 Post Control on HoF Difficulty
- Legend = 139ms
- HoF = 119ms
- Gold = 109ms
- Silver = 99ms
- Bronze = 89ms
- None = 59ms
The green window sizes are large because the shots are from inside 10 ft. Bronze sees an increased green window size of nearly 51% compared to no badge, and then Silver at 68%, gold at 85%, HoF more than doubles the green window size, and then Legend sees a 136% increase.
Test #2: Green Window Size Increase (10'-12') Tested with 92 Close Shot + 90 Post Control on HoF Difficulty
- Legend = 69ms
- HoF = 64ms
- Gold = 61ms
- Silver = 58ms
- Bronze = 54ms
- None = 49ms
By moving a few feet further back the shots become tougher and the boost is much smaller. However, the boost is still fairly linear. Bronze sees a 10% increase in green window size when compared to no badge. Silver at 18%, Gold increases by 25%, HoF by 31%, and Legend sees a 41% increased green window size.
Test #3: Green Window Size Increase (10'-12') Tested with 90 Post Control on HoF Difficulty
- 99 Close Shot = 74ms
- 92 Close Shot = 69ms
- 86 Close Shot = 57ms
- 78 Close Shot = 39ms
- 70 Close Shot = 19ms
This gives us a better idea of the effectiveness of each attribute rating. Each rating shows a linear boost up until Legend where the green window size doesn't see a considerable increase.
