Video-Transkript:
NBA 2K 27 My Player Builder is finally here and I'm going to make sure you guys have the best info when it comes to making your day one build. There is so much brand new content in the builder, you might get overwhelmed with the all new badge token system, new badge and animation threshold, badge synergy, and even badge progression. But after watching this video, I guarantee you'll have a better idea of how to make your build. Tip number one, you can make builds on the 2K HQ app right now.
This gives you plenty of time to lab and make sure you don't rush your day one build. You can make up to 15 builds in the 2K HQ app and you can also import these builds as well. Tip number two, I'm sure you've heard by now, but you can create female My Players. But there's one important caveat, you won't have access to the My Career story, but you will have access to the rec, theater, park, and street kings.
Tip number three, always double-check animation and badge requirements. Old moves might have new requirements and a lot of badge thresholds have changed since you can't acquire legend badges via attributes anymore. com. Tip number four, wingspans now have a more pronounced effect when it comes to shooting, defense, rebounding, and finishing, which means you now have to make important decisions on how you tailor and customize your build.
Tip number five, strength now is a bit more meaningful than it was in 26. With many defense and rebounding badges requiring it. Badges like Box Out Boss on defense or Breaker on offense and even Wall Up badge now require a good amount of strength. So just keep this in mind as it might be an attribute you no longer want to punt, especially if you're a big man.
Tip number six, legend badges are now only accessible via max plus ones or max plus twos, which makes Hall of Fame badges extremely valuable and also very expensive to acquire. This next category of tips will focus exclusively on badges, badge slots, and lastly, badge tokens, which are said to be the biggest game-changer in NBA 2K27. So pay close attention because this is the part where a lot of people get confused. So tip number seven, every single build starts with 20 badge slots, which are split up across the six disciplines.
These badge slots, just like badge tokens, are determined by your investment in each discipline. The more attributes you have in a specific discipline, the more badge slots and badge tokens you will have. Tip number eight, with physicals now being its own discipline, you can no longer apply leftover cap breakers to your physicals. Tip number nine, a lot of badges have been split up into more targeted options.
Two new badges for mid-range, two new badges for three-point, along with the five new rebounding badges. Tip number 10, badge progression is similar to 2K23, where you'll have to earn your available badge tokens by doing things associated with each discipline. Tip number 11, and this one is important. Be aware that just because you meet a badge requirement, you may not have enough badge tokens or badge slots to equip it.
So, just be mindful of which badges you want to prioritize because 2K is making a deliberate move towards more specialized builds. Tip number 12, while builds will be more specialized early on, we should see more demigod type builds later in the year as you earn and unlock bonus badge slots and tokens. You can do that through things like build specialization, season rewards, crew rewards, and rep rewards. Tip 13, bonus tokens and bonus slots can be applied to any discipline, and you can also reset them at any time, so you're not locked in.
Tip 14, we now have badge loadouts which we can select before each game to tailor your badges toward your matchup or game mode with a total of four badge loadouts to be acquired through different rewards. Tip 15, remember max plus ones and max plus twos? Now, they can be found under the synergy section and they work a lot differently. Synergy slots like fuse and reaction are earned through season rewards, build specialization, crew progression, and rep.
Synergy slots earned via season rewards are reset every season, but synergy earned through build specialization, crew, and rep rewards are permanent across all save files. Tip 16, there are 16 total synergy slots across fuse and reaction. 12 of them will provide a max plus one, while four of them will provide a max plus two. Tip 17, while there are four obtainable max plus twos, most players will likely only acquire two.
The first max plus two requires you to grind your build specialization, but the other max plus twos require you to be legend two rep level. Tip 18, the fuse badges are most similar to your max plus ones and max plus twos from 26 as they work for the entire game. Tip 19, any badges that you apply to your fuse slots will not cost any badge tokens. And ideally, you want to put your most expensive badges in these fuse slots.
Tip 20, reaction badges also apply a max plus one or max plus two, but you have to activate your fuse badge a certain amount of times for it to activate for the rest of the game. Tip 21, in order to equip a reaction badge, you'll need to make sure you have an open badge slot available. As you can see here, I have three rebounding badges equipped and if I want to equip another max plus one in reaction, I'll need another badge slot. Tip 22, not all reaction badges can be linked to your fuse badge, but there is a good amount of flexibility within each one and you can scroll down the list to see your available options.
Tip 24, pro tune builds and NBA player builds have now been replaced with signature blueprints. Tip 25, you can now have up to five takeover abilities activated at once and each ability provides a unique set of attribute boosts as well. And in order to get these takeover abilities, you'll need to do things associated with each discipline to activate their respective ability. Tip 23, each takeover ability requires a certain amount of attributes and you can easily find those attribute requirements.
Tip 26, in order to see your cap breakers before finalizing your build, you'll need to max out your potential in the builder to 99 first and you'll probably get five cap breakers pretty soon. I would definitely plan for those five caps at least. And then finally, tip 27, applying cap breakers within each discipline will not grant you badge tokens. So when you're cap breaking from a low attribute threshold, you'll have to plan out your badge tokens accordingly or you'll have to use all your bonus tokens and bonus slots.
And that is all we have for the 27 my player builder tips. Drop any questions you have in the comments down below. I'm going to try to answer them as much as I can. It's been Spil and I'll catch y'all in the next one.
