NBA 2K27 Editions Compared

NBA 2K27 comes in three editions, each with its own cover: Victor Wembanyama on the $69.99 Standard Edition, Caitlin Clark on the $99.99 Deluxe Edition and Derrick Rose on the $149.99 Ultra Edition. The Standard Edition includes the 10,000 VC pre-order bonus and nothing beyond it. The Deluxe Edition adds Early Access, 100,000 bonus VC and the MyCAREER and MyTEAM bundles. The Ultra Edition adds both season passes, 135,000 bonus VC and two guaranteed MyTEAM cards.

MyTEAM note: every card and pack included with an edition is unauctionable.

Ultra Edition is only on sale through September 6, 2026. NBA 2K26 players on PlayStation, Xbox or Steam get a 10% loyalty discount on the Ultra Edition on the same platform, through September 3, 2026.

The Deluxe and Ultra Editions are not sold in Belgium, Brazil or South Korea.

NBA 2K27 is a Gen 9 release, so there is no PS4 or Xbox One version. Crossplay works only between the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, not on Switch 2 or PC.

NBA 2K27 Pre-Order Bonuses

Every NBA 2K27 pre-order comes with 10,000 Virtual Currency, including the Standard Edition. On the Standard Edition it is the only pre-order bonus you get.

On top of that 10,000 VC, the Deluxe Edition adds 100,000 bonus VC and the Ultra Edition adds 135,000. Both also include the MyCAREER skill and Gatorade boosts, the Victor Wembanyama and Caitlin Clark jerseys, a Full '27: Series 1 Team Selection, the Triple Threat Park Free Agent Pack, 5x '27: Series 1 packs and two 2-hour 2XP coins.

Ultra Edition exclusives: the Season 1 Pro Pass, the Summer Pass covering Seasons 7 to 9, the Roses Oversize Hoodie, a guaranteed 98 OVR card delivered December 2026, and a guaranteed Invincible card delivered May 2027.

Season passes are sold separately if you do not take the Ultra Edition: the Pro Pass is $9.99 and the Hall of Fame Pass, which adds a 15% XP booster, 10 level skips and 15,000 VC, is $19.99. All passes need the base game, an NBA 2K account and an internet connection.

NBA 2K27 Early Access

Early Access runs up to seven days and is included with the Deluxe and Ultra Editions only. It begins at 9:00 AM PT on Friday, August 28, 2026 and runs to the September 4 global release. The Standard Edition does not include Early Access.
