video-transcript:
What is good everyone and welcome to the NBA 2K Lab channel. In this video, we'll be looking at the Rise Up badge and the effectiveness it has at each level. We ran a few different tests to give you an idea of different scenarios when it comes to standing dunks. And I'm not going to waste your time. So, of course, like the video and subscribe if you find this information useful. And let's get right into it. For our first test, we only wanted to check for the frequency of a dunk or layup animation while underneath the rim with a defender in proximity. And when looking at the results, there's a huge jump from no badge to bronze. As you can see, about 10% more dunk animations than layups. After that, it's fairly linear as silver and gold don't offer huge jumps when it comes to more dunks. But as we get to the Hall of Fame and legend levels, you should be able to notice more dunk animations underneath the rim. Keep in mind, this is within the 81 standing dunk. So, the gold or hall of fame levels would represent what a max plus one or plus two would look like in this scenario from the silver level. This first test gives us a good idea of just how effective each badge level really is. Next, we wanted to run the same test, but instead of testing each badge level at an 81 standing dunk, we test it at each badge unlock requirement. This will show us how valuable the attributes actually are in this same scenario. Looking at the results, the attributes can make a huge difference. And if standing dunks are part of your game, we recommend aiming for at least the gold level, as it shows nearly a 54% dunk animation rate. Bronze isn't doing much in this scenario, and silver looks solid for a low-end value. But going for hall of fame or legend once again show a significant boost. And if standing dunks are part of your game, these higher levels can definitely be helpful. And then for our last test, we wanted to see the frequency of large and small meters when trying to dunk underneath the rim. The boost after bronze still show a fairly linear rise, but if you want bigger dunk meters more often, you should shoot for the Hall of Fame level, which has a 53% large meter rate. Legend shows a 59% large meter rate in this scenario, and having these higher attributes can definitely help. Gold is still the sweet spot for the good animations without overspending. But if you rely on standing dunks heavily, Hall of Fame or Legend can provide bigger and more frequent standing dunks underneath the rim. But that is all we have for this RiseUp badge test, and I hope this helped you guys. Don't forget to drop a like if you found this video helpful.
