video-transcript:
What is good everybody and welcome back to the NBA 2K Lab channel where we test everything inside of NBA 2K. And for this video, we'll be going over the postfade feedon badge. We'll talk about what activates this badge, what boosts you'll receive at each badge level, what badge levels to target for bang for your buck and be an elite post score, and we'll be going over some key things to know about this badge and post fading in general. So, let's not waste any time. Like, subscribe, and let's get into these results. So to activate the postfade phenom badge, you could perform a postfade, a post hop shot, and most of the post goto shots. To start the test, the shooter had an 84 post control and a 90 m-range, and we took 200 shots every 10 milliseconds of the green window at each badge level. With no badge, we seen an average make rate of 64%, which is actually surprisingly good for no badge. But going up to bronze, we saw a 6% boost, taking us to 70%, making this one of the best bronze badges to have in this year's game. And this is where the bang for the buck is. A 6% jump in make percent along with how cheap bronze postfade phenom is is actually incredibly solid for the cost. Moving to silver, we see a jump of 3% and gold, we see a jump of 2% when compared to the badge before them. And these are the levels that we didn't see the best value in. So maybe take note of that. Jumping to hall of fame, however, we see solid value having a 5% boost when compared to gold. This is the level that those players that want to be an elite post fader want to target. And lastly, jumping to legend, we see another 2% boost. Knowing these results, you can confidently know which levels to target for the goal you're trying to reach. Bronze being the best budget option and hall of fame being solid value as well. And you know that going higher than hall of fame here might not be worth it for most players. So you could spend those attributes or use that max plus one or two elsewhere. Now some big key things to note about this badge and post fading in general. We tested post fades with legend postfade phenom, but one had 84 post with a 90 mid-range and the other had 25 post control with 90 mid-range. We took another 200 shots per 10 milliseconds of the gray window for both and the results were very very similar in regards to post fading. This was interesting. So, we then tested again 200 shots every 10 milliseconds of the green window with 84 post control and an 80 mid-range comparing it to a 90 mid-range. Here, we seen a much greater difference between the two, signifying that not only is your mid-range going to be key for higher field goal percentages when post fading, but also mid-range is way more important here than post control. And high mid-range builds with lower post control may still be really solid post-fading builds. But if you want to be elite, you'll most likely still want to have at least postfade phenom on Hall of Fame. So that's what we have for you for our in-depth postfade phenom badge test. We hoped to clarify some things about the badge and help you know with more certainty what attributes and badge thresholds you want to target on your build. And with all that being said, it's been Kosa and I hope you all enjoyed
