NBA 2K26 How to Shoot: Set Shot Specialist Green Window video

Set Shot Specialist Badge in 2K26

What does Set Shot Specialist Badge do in NBA 2K26?

video-transcript:
Now, the set shot specialist badge is one that just about every build should be targeting to some extent. This badge will help you convert standstill shots at a much higher clip. To test this badge, we took 200 shots for every 5 milliseconds throughout the pure green window for each badge level, which makes a total of 14,000 shots. And if you didn't see our explanation of the pure green window, we dropped a whole video explaining everything, and you should definitely check that out. But something to note before we show you the results is that we tested each badge level at a 93 thre three-point rating to account for the max plus 1's and max plus2s. So this should give us a good idea of how much these badge perks affect your make percentage without having the actual ratings. But moving on to the badge itself, let's start at the bronze level. And with a make percentage of about 60% and a boost of 2% over no badge, this isn't exactly a game changer. With silver set shot specialist, we have a make percentage of about 62% and a boost of roughly 4% over no badge. This is still a little underwhelming in terms of a boost, but with the shooting being much easier in 2K26, I don't think you can expect too much. But these lower badge levels are still crucial if you plan on bumping them to gold or hall of fame. Because as we get to the gold level, we start to enter the sweet spot in terms of value and effectiveness. The gold level has a make percentage of 64% which is 6% better than no badge with the potential to max this plus two to legend. Now, the gold might be the start of the sweet spot, but if you want to go a little further, Hall of Fame Set Shot Specialist looks to be extremely solid with a make percentage of about 67%, which is about 9% better than no badge. And at this point, you should definitely start to feel the impact. Moving to Legend, it works as expected, which is really good. With a make percentage of nearly 72% and an estimated green window of about 46 milliseconds, wide open shots should feel like a layup. And even light contests might feel more like opens. and whether you're targeting this badge level with attributes or badge perks. Getting to legend can definitely improve your make percentage a sizable amount. So overall, which badge level kind of depends on the build you're making. And if you can get to at least gold through legend, even by using badge perks, you can definitely start to feel some improvement with your shooting. And that is all we have for the set shot specialist badge. And if you found this video helpful, don't forget to drop a like.
