video-transcript:
what is good everybody and welcome to the NBA 2K lab Channel my name is Spill and in this video we'll be going over the Boost to receive for each level of the physical finisher badge this is going to be a quick video so don't forget to subscribe turn those notifications on to stay updated and without further Ado let's get right into the video the physical finisher badge improves a player's ability to battle through contact and convert contact layups and in order to get this badge you'll need a combination of strength and driving layup now to test this badge we took 200 layups with real player percentage against a Defender providing a light pressure contest at each badge level we ran this testing scenario two times one set an 85 layup and the other we tested at each badge level requirement looking at these results we can see Bron's physical finisher providing a nice jump from no badge but the make percentage is still fairly low as we get to the silver level we can see a viable make percentage in both scenarios as silver physical finisher has a make percentage of over 60% in both of these tests the gold level provides a modest jump and still looks solid but where I think you'll notice the biggest boost is at the hall of fame level with an 85 driving layup the Hall of Fame level has a make percentage of almost 70% while the the badge level requirement at a 96 layup sees a make percentage of 75% that means three out of four of your contact layups in this scenario will go in if you have this badge equipped keep in mind this was all with real player percentage too so this had nothing to do with timing so Hall of Fame is great and seems to have great value but the legion level of physical finisher also sees a pretty significant boost this badge level shows an 83% make rate at the badge level requirement this badge level requires a 97 strength and a 97 driving layup so it's quite the investment and it's tough to justify the value depending on your build and play style if you're a shorter guard where strength costs next to nothing and you can even get 97 it might be a little easier to stomach so ultimately silver physical finisher looks to be a great value threshold on the lower end while Hall of Fame provides great value on the higher end the other badge levels still provide solid upgrades but when factoring in badge requirements and attribute weights the silver and Hall of Fame levels provide the best bang for your buck now that is all we have for the physical finisher badge test and if you found this video helpful or informative don't forget to drop a like it's Ben spill and I'm out later
